September Pie of the Month: Our special Pie this month is Salted Carmel Apple. As the weather turns cooler we harvest our crisp, tart apples to make this delightful pie layered with homemade salted caramel all nestled in our hand rolled flaky pie crust with a hand woven lattice top. It is just as lovely to look at as it is to eat!

Other pies in season this month include Old Fashioned or French Apple, Blackberry, Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Peach. Fall is a great time to enjoy a fresh baked Marcie’s pie or one of our quiches made with our farm fresh eggs and fresh meat and veggies.

As summer fades into fall and the weather cools you can expect to find a bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables at our farmers’ market stand. This is peak of the harvest season. See our current produce list on the tab “Produce” to get see what we will be offering this month.

Plan your meals around some of our locally and humanely raised cuts of meat. With the fall weather coming warm your kitchen with a hearty soup, stew or roast for festive dinners for family and friends.
